New Ownership
Cock Robin has closed. This location is now Iggy’s Burger, operating under new ownership, with a completely new menu and a new approach.
Iggy’s Burger began with our first location in Healdsburg, CA, built around the idea that a great burger should be made with care and quality ingredients. Our second location opened in Sebastopol in Jan 2026, where we continued to refine the menu, the experience, and how we show up in the community.
This restaurant is not a rebrand of Cock Robin. It is a new business and a new chapter in this space. While we respect the history of the location, everything you experience here- from the food to the service and atmosphere- has been rethought and built.
We are excited to bring Iggy’s Burger to Sebastopol, CA, and to keep growing thoughtfully, one restaurant at a time! Thanks for being here and giving us a try.
Our
History
In 1931, childhood friends Walter Fredenhagen and Earl Prince teamed up and established Prince Castle ice cream stores in Naperville, IL. In 1955, the partnership ended, and Fredenhagen renamed his stores “Cock Robin.” Cock Robin continued to offer “One In A Million” malted milkshakes, iconic square-scooped ice cream cones, and “The Big One” steak burgers. Their motto, “Where memories are made,” left a lasting impression.
The last Cock Robin closed in Brookfield, IL in 2008 and, like many birds, Cock Robin migrated west under new ownership to The Barlow in Sebastopol, CA. Here, it has adapted to a new environment and modern menu. At Cock Robin, we invite you to continue the tradition of creating lifelong family memories.
